Dr. Desiree A. Desierto is the Economics, Politics, and Finance consultant of Desierto & Desierto Law. After obtaining master’s and doctoral degrees in Australia and the United Kingdom, she became Robert M. Solow Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cournot Centre in Economic Studies in France, Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge, consultant to several projects of the Asian Development Bank, and Associate Professor at the University of the Philippines. She is 2016-17 Visiting Research Fellow at the WSD Handa Center for Human Rights and International Justice at Stanford University, and a candidate for a second doctorate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Desierto has published in international books and journals, including the ICSID Review, the world’s leading peer-reviewed journal in international investment law and dispute resolution.
